历山大染色液(Alexander stain)是一种植物花粉类染料, 常用于细胞核染色，对于植物花粉，染色后会称紫红色。Alexander stain主要由孔雀绿、酸性品红、苯酚等组成，pH呈酸性，是很好的植物花粉粒的染色剂。

自备材料：

1、 载玻片、盖玻片
2、 光学显微镜

操作步骤(仅供参考)：
1、取新鲜花朵，小心去除花瓣和雌蕊。
2、将花粉物质置于载玻、片，滴加2－3滴Alexander Stain。
3、充分混合，立即盖上盖玻片染色5－10h。
4、吸去多余液体，显微镜下观察。

Alexander stain is a plant pollen dye commonly used for nuclear staining, which turns plant pollen purple-red after staining. It primarily consists of malachite green, acid fuchsin, and phenol, has an acidic pH, and serves as an excellent reagent for staining plant pollen grains. 

Self-prepared materials: 

1. Slide and cover slip  
2. Optical microscope 


Procedure (for reference only):  
1. Take fresh flowers and carefully remove the petals and pistils.  
2. Place the pollen material on a slide and add 2–3 drops of Alexander Stain.  
3. Mix thoroughly, immediately cover with a coverslip, and stain for 5–10 hours.  
4. Remove excess liquid and examine under a microscope. 

Note:
1. This product is for research use only. Do not use for pharmaceutical, clinical diagnosis or treatment, food, cosmetics, or other purposes. Do not store in residential areas.

Store and transport at room temperature; shelf life of 12 months
